Jairo Rodriguez Bustamante

Jairo Rodriguez Bustamante has been a Community Research Associate with the CCL since August 2024. He is a local community member with over seven years of experience working with families and communities. He previously served as a Development Specialist at World Vision Peru and has extensive experience in conducting surveys and in-depth interviews for research on volunteer organizations and rural communities in Peru. Additionally, Jairo has worked on a project analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from social media to examine social movements and democracy. As an international student and volunteer, Jairo has been actively involved in supporting students and families in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has tutored middle school students, supporting them to navigate the educational system and adapt to a new culture. Jairo holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master in Social Project Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
